Labor Day Weekend 2008 Kicks off with a variety of events all based on you, our members and guests choosing the events you want to attend!

The Aloha Bears are now preparing for the 4th Annual LeiBear Day celebration and we are looking to make this a homecoming of sorts.  We want our visitors and our local Bears to enjoy the weekend with an ala carte menu of events to choose from.  Mark your calendars today for August 29th, 30th, 31st, and September 1st 2008 and become a part of a tradition that "raises the bar" on bear events worldwide!

Our selection of events have been designed to not only introduce our visitors to a weekend in Hawaii, but to allow the local Bear community to attend events around their work schedules. 

We have also secured a fantastic room deal at the Cabana at Waikiki for their Aloha Suites starting at $99.00.  Please contact the manager Jim Toomy  directly at cabana2551@aol.com for information and reservations.  The site linked above and below offers additional tours and activities.

Everything kicks off with a FREE Opening Night Party at Hula's on Friday night August 29th at 8 PM

On Saturday August 30th the fun continues with a Bear Beer Blast at
Tapas Restaurant & Lanai Bar at 8 PM. 
$5.00 for Aloha Bear Members $10.00 for non members

Continuing on Sunday August 31st, we will be hosting a Special Bear Cruise.
Similar to our Monthly Catamaran Cruise, you will meet at In-Between
This time, however you need to meet at 1 PM. 
The cruise will be $30.00 per ticket for Aloha Bears and Visitors alike.


The fun doesn't stop after the cruise!!  At Midnight the Bears will converge on
Fusion Waikiki for a Leather and Levi Party!! Get your GRRR Face on!!
$5.00 for Aloha Bears Members $10 for non members

Finally, to wrap up the weekend with the Bears there will be a Bear BBQ
at NOON at Queens Surf Beach. 
Free for All Aloha Bear members that bring a side dish!!
$5.00 for all others

Queen’s Surf

Queen's Surf Beach is a popular bodysurfing, swimming, snorkeling, and surfing beach located in Waikiki's Kuhio Beach Park near the Kapahulu Groin, the Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Aquarium, and Kapiolani Park.  At the Diamond Head end of Waikiki, this is the gay beach. On Kalakaua Ave., as you enter Kapiolani Park from Waikiki, follow the esplanade along the beach. The area from the groin to the Waikiki Aquarium is usually very gay. Snack bar and restrooms adjacent.
